Muhammad Shafi Uri bereaved
SRINAGAR: Mother of senior National Conference leader and Member Parliament Muhammad Shafi Uri passed away on Monday.
She was laid to rest at her ancestral graveyard at Garkoot Uri this morning. Large number of people including senior politicians visited Shafi’s residence to express condolences with the bereaved family.
The Governor N N Vohra, in his condolence message conveyed his sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah visited Muhammad Shafi Uri’s residence and condoled the demise of his mother.
Omar expressed grief and sorrow and sympathized with the bereaved family. He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
