Tak is regional manager SBI, Kashmir range

Srinagar, July 19: The State Bank of India has appointed A U Tak as Regional Manager, SBI for Kashmir region.  An ace banker, Tak joined SBI, county’s largest bank in 1982 as an officer after completing his degree in Agriculture Sciences. Since then Tak has manned several important assignments and toured whole of the state, the bank in a statement said.  On his profile it said Tak remained as Assistant General Secretary of the SBI Officers’ Association. “He is a certified associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, Mumbai,” it said.  Prior to his appointment as Regional Manager, Tak was chairman of Ellaquai Dehati Bank, an SBI sponsored rural bank and was instrumental in bringing complete transformation in the functioning of the bank that has touched new heights during his tenure as chairman.
