New Delhi unnerved by peaceful protests: TeH
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, July 20: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat on Tuesday said that New Delhi is hatching conspiracies to derail the ongoing movement.
“New Delhi and state government have miserably failed to project the ongoing peaceful struggle as terrorism at international level and the world community has openly declared it a peaceful struggle based on democratic and moral principals. This has unnerved the rulers in New Delhi and they are now contemplating other methods to divert peoples’ attention from the real issues to keep them away from the ongoing struggle,” the general secretary of Hurriyat Conference (G) Muhammad Yousuf Fallahi said in a statement.
He urged the people to demonstrate wisdom, farsightedness and unity at this crucial juncture when the attention of international community is completely focused on Kashmir issue.
Fallahi appealed the people to continue peaceful struggle and strictly adhere to the Hurriyat Conference (G) programmes under “Quit Jammu Kashmir Movement”. He strongly condemned the killing and arrest of innocent civilians especially teenagers by the police and CRPF troopers across the Valley.
He urged the well off people to help the poor and deserving people in their localities.
Meanwhile, the general secretary of Hurriyat Conference (G) Masrat Alam Bhat paid glowing tributes to the oppressed Kashmiris’ spirit of sacrifice and altruism and the determination and steadfastness of thousands of detainees lodged in various jails on “Yoom-i-Ukjehti Asira’an”.
Praising the spirit of altruism of thousands of detainees including Syed Ali shah Geelani, Muhammad Ashraf Sehrai, Shabir Ahmad Shah, Nayeem Ahmad Khan, Gen Musa, Ayaz Akbar, Bilal Sidiqui, Mian Abdul Qayoom, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Muhammad Yousuf Mir, Muhammad Ashraf Laya, Mujahid Muhammad Yousuf, Mir Hafizullah, Alam said the “frustrated” New Delhi and state government have failed to break their resolve and determination.
