NF condemns Varmul killings
Srinagar: National Front on Tuesday denounced the killing of an innocent youth, Fayaz Ahmad Khanday by the policemen in Varmul.
In a statement, it said “troops were killing innocent youth with impunity to muzzle the freedom sentiment of Kashmiris.”
He said, “Such acts cannot suppress Kashmiris’ resolve to get freedom from India.”
Concerned over the rise of human rights violations in Kashmir, it said, “Forces were on killing spree with no respect to human life.”
The party also condemned the detentions of Hurriyat and Bar Association leaders saying such actions were reflective of the government’s “dictatorial” attitude.
