Déjà vu
This refers to Muhammad Shafi Pandit's letter Déjà vu, (GK July 19, 2010). I refer to the last line, which reads, “It is high time for all of us to ponder as to why we continue to suffer and suffer and suffer and how we can come out of the quagmire we are in.”
The underlined part of that sentence is a million dollar question. Many have talked about the problems we are facing, proper diagnosis has never been a problem; but no one is coming with a remedy. A patient can not get cured if the doctor gives him the list of diseases he may be suffering from; he simply needs a prescription, a remedy.
This is perhaps high time that people of your stature rise up and offer a remedy. This bruised nation has and is suffering beyond imagination. Let somebody come with a solution, please.
