Officers asked to assess agri losses

Srinagar, July 21: Deputy Development Commissioner Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Lone on Wednesday directed the officers of Revenue, Agriculture and Horticulture Department to assess the losses caused to the standing agriculture crops, orchards and other residential structures due to windstorm and torrential rains that lashed the district on last Monday, an official statement said. Lone impressed upon the officers to activate their field functionaries for compilation of data and submit report at the earliest for taking up relief measures.
