Track-II team in Valley

GK NEWS NETWORK

Srinagar, July 21: In the wake of continued unrest in Kashmir, a team of political observers from New Delhi is currently stationed in the Valley to have on-the-spot assessment of the prevailing situation.
Highly placed sources said the three-member team, on a five day visit to Kashmir, have met various political leaders from mainstream and separatist camps during the past two days. The team, sources said, arrived here to “help create conditions for sustained peace and revival of internal dialogue”. Till Friday next, they said, the team would meet cross sections of society and seek their opinion on how to bring the current situation under control through means of “dialogue and reconciliation.”
The team is likely to make recommendations to the Central government over the “causes and remedies” of the prevailing unrest in the Valley.
