Typical Kashmiris
I appreciate the role of Greater Kashmir in helping every Kashmiri outside to stay connected with the valley. When I was doing Masters in University of Kashmir, I remember how we started the agitation against the invasion of US on Iraq. Anything odd happens to any part of the world, Kashmiris are on front line of protests. We forget we have our own miseries and we are too weak to be heard by anyone. But this makes us what we are famous for: a typical Kashmiri. I am writing this in reference to the article titled “just outrageous” by Basim Amin. We don't think of the curfew that has been imposed on our streets, the threat to our lives and property. Why don’t we write about that? But this time let us protest against the illogical and brutal ban on burqa by French government. We have not given up our emotions and feelings. We are still the typical Kashmiris.
