1 killed, 4 hurt in mishaps
Srinagar, July 23: A man was killed and four others injured in road accidents across the Valley.
A Truck hit a car (JK01H-2233) at Tapper Pattan killing Muhammad Sidiq Najar, 50, son of Assadullah Najar of Batwina Ganderbal and injuring two others, police said adding the wounded had been hospitalized and a case registered.
A ca (JK01K-6018) collided with a motorcycle (JK04-2006) at Zewan Bala Panthachowk injuring motorcycle rider, Farooq Ahmad Wani son of Ghulam Ahmad of Watalkadal, Safakadal here.
In another incident, Abdul Rashid Ganie son of Muhammad Ibrahim of Paibugh Mattan was hit and injured by an unknown car at Paibugh crossing Mattan, police said adding the driver sped away from the spot.
