CRPF camp attacked, SHO shot at
Srinagar, July 23: Police on Friday claimed that unknown persons hurled grenade on the CRPF bunker at Chanpora in city outskirts last night, but it exploded without causing any damage.
“Unknown persons lobbed a grenade on the bunker of 29 Battalion E-Coy at SICOP building Chanapora last night, it missed the target and exploded on the road. There was no loss of life or injury ,” a police official said.
Meanwhile, police claimed that Station House Officer Pattan Fayaz Ahmed was wounded this afternoon, when a bullet came from protesters at Palhallan Pattan in north Kashmir. “He has been shifted to hospital,” police added.
