Join protests today: Masrat Alam to doctors, lawyers

Srinagar, July 23: The Hurriyat Conference (G) general secretary Masrat Alam Bhat has reiterated his appeal to the doctors and lawyers of the state to join protest demonstrations on Saturday to show it to the world the intellectuals are in the forefront of the ongoing struggle.
Terming the Track Two Diplomacy as devilish tactic, Masrat has, according to Hurriyat statement, claimed that India was trying to prolong its control on the state with the help of such tactics.
Rejecting the NC memorandum for internal autonomy, Masrat said nobody would be allowed to create chaos and confusion in the ongoing struggle.
Heaping strong criticism on NC, Masrat said this party had always acted dishonestly in pursuit of power.
