Srinagar, July 24: The Chairperson of Dukhtaran-e-Millat, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi on Saturday castigated the statements issued by chairman of United Jehad Council, Syed Salah-ud-din and Jam’at-e-Islami for what she said amounts to creating confusion in the ongoing movement.
 In a statement, Aasiya said by stating that there was no need to go for continuous strikes to carry forward the ongoing movement, Salahuddin and Jam’at-e-Islami have created confusion among masses by what she termed as “unnecessary comments.”     .
 “If any Kashmiri, whether living in this side, across the LOC or abroad has any suggestions regarding the freedom movement, they should not approach those who are spearheading the ongoing agitation through media. There are many other channels apart from media through which they can convey their suggestions,” Aasiya said.
 Aasiya said: “Youth have sacrificed their lives for carrying the movement forward. It is the responsibility of the pro-freedom leaders and supporters to properly guide the people and not to mislead them. We won’t allow the movement to be sabotaged like in 2008.”
