Molestation bid at B&J Hospital
Srinagar, July 24: A molestation bid on female patient by a lower rung employee of the B&J Hospital, Barzulla was aborted Saturday morning by the timely intervention of some people present there who on hearing her screams caught hold of the accused.
Officials said the accused, working as a “sweeper engaged on contractual basis out of the hospital development fund was terminated following an inquiry into the incident.”
“His engagement has been terminated following the completion of inquiry conducted by the Deputy Medical Superintendent and statement of the witnesses,” the hospital administration said.
The hospital said the accused had a “past record of criminal misconduct.”
When contacted the Medical Superintendent of B&J Hospital, Dr Muneer Masoodi confirmed the incident and action taken.
