PL suggests calendar of programmes

Srinagar, July 24: The Jammu Kashmir Peoples League acting chairman Haji Farooq has suggested his views on the calendar of programmes to be adopted for carrying on the freedom struggle till the realization of the objective of freedom. 
 According to Haji Farooq, the schools and colleges should remain open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and all offices should function from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Valley. “However, on Friday the offices shall remain open up to 1 p.m. only. After Friday prayers there should be peaceful protest demonstrations. Kashmir bandh should be observed on Saturday and there should not be any protest on Sunday. The programme will also prove suitable during the holy month of Ramadhan and there should be atmosphere of civil curfew daily after 3 p.m. during the holy month,” he said in a statement.
 Haji Farooq said these suggestions were being put forth so that people could follow these without facing any hardships and carry on the struggle till the realization of the objective
