Punish guilty and the credibility will be restored
This is in reference to the continuous killings and human rights violations taking place across Kashmir valley during last many weeks. Elsewhere also there are protests, but nowhere force is used as it's used here.
Moreover We have seen many inquiry commissions appointed in the past whenever any human rights violation took place but not a single time the reports were made public or any action was initiated against the culprits. It has become norm of the Government to appoint Additional DC's as inquiry officers but has anybody been prosecuted after the reports were submitted ? At many instances the inquiry commissions clearly indicted some police officials and army personnel for committing the crime but were those orders implemented ? Not only this even the orders of J&K State Human Rights Commission have not been respected. So the people have lost their hope into democratic system. It's only a strong action against the guilty that can restore trust.
