Sacrifices won’t go waste: Shakeel
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, July 25: Shakeel Ahmad Ahangar, husband of Neelofar and brother of Aasiya Jan, has appealed people to remain united and strictly adhere to the Hurriyat’s programme against the killing of civilians.
In a statement, Shakeel said: “at this crucial juncture of the movement, people should join hands and adhere to the conglomerate’s program.”
He said after the Shopian incident, the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah gave contradictory statements. “This clear reflects that the government has given freed hands to its cops,” he said.
He condemned the arrest of High Court Bar Association president, Mian Abdul Qayoom and general secretary, G N Shaheen. “The arrest of the duo and youth is aimed at creating fear among the people,” he said.
Pertinently, Shaheen was assisting the Shopian victims’ case in the court.
