Coaching schemes for SC/ST job seekers

Jammu, July 26: The office of Sub-Regional Employment Officer, Coaching cum Guidance centre for SC/ST, DGE&T, ministry of Labour & Employment, government of India, will be launching special coaching schemes for SC/ST job seekers of J&K state for eleven months.  Shorthand, Typing, Gen English & Gen Knowledge, Two months Module on Computer Applications will be the various schemes. 
 The eligibility criteria is at least 12th pass & the applicant should be registered with local Employment Exchange, a statement here said today.
 Final selection of candidates will be on the basis of written test as well as interview. The selected candidates will be provided `500 stipend per month after having minimum 80 per cent attendance and Books/Stationery worth `500 will also be provided for the entire period.
