5 killed, 1 injured in road mishaps

Srinagar, July 27: Five persons were killed and another wounded in road mishaps across the Jammu and Kashmir.
 In Jammu, three persons were killed when a truck rolled down a hilly road in Reasi district of Jammu, police said.
 The accident occurred last night when the truck turned turtle and rolled down into the 300-feet deep gorge at Damni-Mahore belt, 155 kms from here, they said.
 The deceased have been identified as Muhammad Tariq (driver), Ali Muhammad and Ada Muhammad (both labourers).
 In Kashmir, two persons were killed and another injured in road accidents across the Valley.
 A Tipper (JK01G-0690) hit and injured Maqsood Ahmad Beigh son of Khalil Ahmad of Drigam at Drigam Nallah Budgam injuring him critically. The injured was shifted to the B&J Hospital where he was declared as brought dead.
 Muhammad Rafiq Bajard son of Abdul Karim Bajard of Lehan Dajan, Pahalgam Islamabad, traveling in a Sumo (JK03A-8840) from Tral to Awantipora fell down at Lalgam crossing Awantipora and was critically injured. He was shifted to SKIMS Soura, where he succumbed to the injuries.
 A vehicle (JK01J-7940) hit a motorcycle (JK01K-1436) at Rawalpora injuring motorcyclist Umar Rasool son of Ghulam Rasool of Soibugh Budgam.
