Man Washed Away In Flash Floods, 33 Rescued

Jammu, July 27: A middle aged man was washed away and 33 others, who got trapped in flash floods at separate places, were rescued, while alert has been sounded down the stream areas after the water level touched danger mark in the Chenab river following incessant rains in the Jammu region since Monday.
Reports said a middle-aged man identified Sher Singh (58) resident of Charana village was washed away in flash floods when he was crossing Baghu nallah in Mahore.
Meanwhile, Army and Air force personnel rescued 33 persons trapped in flash floods across Jammu region.
