'Don’t charge any commission from sellers'

Srinagar July 28: The Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC), Azadpur-Delhi, has asked Associations operating in Azadpur Fruit Mandi and its sub-yard viz. Kela Siding Azadpur and Fruit and Vegetable Market, Okhla not to charge any commission from the sellers till further orders.
As per Horticulture Director’s (P&M) press release the APMC vide its Notification No.F.No.3/45/APMC/Legal/09-10/427 dated 20-07-2010 has ordered that notification dated 13-01-2000 for charging the commission only from the purchaser be complied with.
Accordingly, all the fruit growers, commission agents, traders and buyers of the J&K have been informed that no commission is being charged in the wattaks debited to the seller by the Delhi Commission Agents and Traders.
