15 kg poppy recovered, 2 held

Jammu: Two persons were arrested and 15 kilogram of poppy was recovered from their possession in separate incidents in Udhampur, police said here on Wednesday.
Police intercepted a car on Jammu-Srinagar highway and recovered 9 kg of poppy from it at M H Morh in Udhampur district last evening, they said.
Ajay Kumar, who was driving the car, was arrested and a case has been registered against him.
In another case, police intercepted a truck and recovered 6 kilogram of poppy from it at Khondhar area, they said adding Harvinder Singh of Punjab was arrested in this connection.
