Improve mobiles service in border areas: ABGMS
Jammu: The Akhil Bhartiya Gujjar Maha Sabha has urged the Union Minister of state for Information and Technology, Sachin Pilot to improve the mobile telecommunication facilities in the border belt of J&K.
ABGMS said its National President, P K Anna Patil and state president, E R Poswal submitted a memorandum to the Pilot saying that despite no objection from army, the facility was not being improved “due to lack of interest from the private companies for installation of towers.”
They said telephone exchanges in Rajouri, Poonch and rural areas of Kupwara, Varmul and Bandipore needs to be augmented.
