Srinagar, July 28: Government has accorded sanction to the grant of Special Scale (Pay band PB-4) of Rs 37, 400 - 67,000 + Grade Pay of Rs 8,700 in favour of Laila Chanda and Munshi Ram Dogra on their promotion with effect from June 22, 2010, an official spokesman said.
 Laila Chanda, on her promotion to Special Scale of Rs 37,400-67,000 has been transferred and posted as Director Finance, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation.
 Earlier, Laila was posted as Chief Accounts Officer, Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
 Government has also accorded sanction to the promotion of 9 officers of J&K Accounts (Gazetted ) service to the selection Grade (Pay band  PB-3) of Rs. 15,600-39,100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7500 with effect from June 22, 2010.
 The officers who were promoted are: Suresh Kumar Sen, Muhammad Rafiq Hajam, Abdul Majid Bhat, Barkat Hussain, Satnam Singh, Suresh Kumar Koul, Riyaz Ahmad Shah, Ashok Kumar and Mushtaq Ahmad Rather.
