Guv discusses agri promotion schemes

Srinagar, July 2: Chief Consultant, Union Ministry of Agriculture, Prof hulam Mohi-u-Din, called on Governor, N N Vohra at Raj Bhavan here today.
The Governor discussed with Prof. Mohi-u-Din the Union Ministry of Agriculture’s major schemes and programmes for the promotion of horticulture, floriculture, mushroom cultivation, seed production etc and the extent to which the State of J&K had availed of the available opportunities.
Prof. Ghulam Mohi-u-Din informed the Governor, inter alia that a large number of youth of the state could be trained through the district wise Krishi Vigyan Kendras.
