Enforce financial discipline: DGAT
Kargil: Enforcement of financial discipline is must for improvement of fiscal health of the J&K State. This was stated by Wali Muhammad Bhat, Director General Accounts & Treasuries in a meeting of District Officer held yesterday at Kargil.
He asked the officers to observance Codal procedures and formalities. The officer were advised to exercise complete vigil in incurring the expenditure and maintenance of requisite account books/ records besides observance of Canons of financial proprieties explained in J&K Financial Code.
Bhat also apprised the DDOS of the circulars being issued by the finance department for their guidance.
