Revoke FIR against docs: MFA

Srinagar, July 30: The Medical Faculty Association on Friday said the doctors’ community of Kashmir being the part of the society could not be mute spectators to the on-going innocent killings of the civilians.
In a statement, the MFA of Government Medical College and Government Dental College, here urged the government to revoke the FIR lodged against junior doctors and interns of GMC for their peaceful sit-in protests against human rights violations and attack on ambulances.
The MFA urged the government not to victimize the junior doctors. “Instead, the government must appreciate the professional services rendered by the doctors when the entire valley is protesting against these killings,” it said.
Expressing solidarity with the junior doctors, MFA urged the Junior Doctors Association to exercise restraint and continue to remain committed to render their professional services and bring solace to the suffering humanity.
