Islamabad, July 3: Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister, Peerzada Muhammad Syed Saturday said those involved in using excessive force at Anchidora, Islamabad on June 29, in which three youth were killed, would be booked after the magisterial probe.
Peerzada, accompanied by Minister for Social Welfare, Sakina Itoo and CM’s Advisor, Mubarak Gul today visited the situation in Islamabad and met the police, civil administration and senior citizens, an official spokesman said.
The state government Saturday ordered an inquiry into the firing in Islamabad town of south Kashmir on June 29 which left three persons dead and several others injured, an official spokesman said.
Additional District Magistrate, Islamabad, G M Dar, who is also Assistant Commissioner Revenue Islamabad, has been appointed as the inquiry officer, the spokesman said.
Three youth were killed and as many injured in the firing at S K Colony Islamabad town, which had sparked violent protests and led to imposition of curfew.
The Enquiry Officer has asked the public to meet him personally and share any kind of information about the killing or convey the information regarding the incident on Telephone Nos: 9419150994 and 01932-228393 .The information can be shared with him from July 4, 2010 to July 10, 2010 including holidays from 10 am to 4 pm in his office chamber, in DC Office Complex Islamabad.
