HCBA condemns killings

Srinagar, July 3: The High Court Bar Association (HCBA) Saturday condemned the unabated spate of killings in Kashmir by police and paramilitary forces.
 In a statement issued here Bar said government agencies were trying to change the direction of the apprising by projecting the current situation in Valley as “internecine conflict” between ruling coalition government headed by Omar Abdullah and the opposition Peoples Democratic Party.
 Bar also accused the national print and electronic media for projecting the current situation with political distortion with the purpose to change the direction of the Kashmir movement.
