Karate flays govt for continued curfew
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (R) chairman, Farooq Ahmad Dar alias Bitta Karate has castigated the government for imposing continued curfew in valley and restrictions on Muslims to offer Friday prayers at various Masjids.
“Preventing Muslims from offering Friday prayers is a sheer interference in their religious affairs,” said Karate in a statement.
Karate condemned the continued detention of Front senior vice-chairman, Javid Ahmad Malik, saying that such ‘repressive measures’ could not demoralize the party activists.
Karate paid tributes to the youth recently martyred in police and CRPF firing at Kupwara, Varmul, Sopur, Islamabad and Srinagar.
