Srinagar, June 3: The headmaster and staff of Government Boys High School, Narwara, Srinagar, have expressed profound grief and sorrow over the demise of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Rather of Firdous Colony, Bypass, father of Miss Darakhshan, teacher..
Rather was hit by a Santro on June 10, 2010, at around 4.30 p.m. near Shikar Ghat, Lawaypora on the City outskirts, sustaining serious head injuries. He was rushed to SKIMS, Soura, where he succumbed to his injuries on July 1.
The staff members have prayed for the deceased and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
Meanwhile, the Rasm-e-Chaharum of the deceased, according to family sources, is being observed on July 4, Sunday, at 10 a.m. at his ancestral graveyard, Syed Sahab, Rajouri Kadal, near Gani Stadium.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Employees’ Joint Action Committee (Q) president and Teachers’ Forum chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani has also expressed deep shock and sorrow over the demise and prayed for the peace to departed soul. He has expressed solidarity with the bereaved family
