213 PAK HINDUS PAY OBEISANCE AT VAISHNO DEVI

Jammu, July 4: A group of 213 Hindu pilgrims from Pakistan paid obeisance at the Vaishno Devi cave shrine in Trikuta hills in Reasi district, official sources said here today.
 They said that the group of Pakistani pilgrims had specially arrived to visit Vaishno Devi shrine. This is for the second time that Pakistani Hindus have paid obeisance at the cave shrine.
 The officials said that the group, which comprised 143 men, 50 women and 20 children, arrived in Katra town Saturday evening and undertook the 13 km trek to the shrine.
 The pilgrims offered prayers at the shrine Sunday morning and returned back to Jammu.
 The pilgrims under the banner of Mata Mandal Trust of Sindh province of Pakistan, had crossed the Wagah border on July 1 and will return to their native place on July 25 after undertaking pilgrimage to various shrines in Haridwar, Indore, Raipur, Jalgaon as well as the Golden Temple.
