‘Rise above business, personal interests’

Srinagar, July 4: Dukhtaran-e-Millat chairperson, Syeda Aasiya Andrabi, on Sunday made a fervent appeal to the people to make successful, the Islamabad Chalo programme on Monday, which was announced by the Hurriyat (G).
 In a statement, Aasiya said people should march to Islamabad to express solidarity with the families of three youth allegedly killed in police firing and register protest to press for punishment against the accused.
 Aasiya also asked the traders, businessmen and people from different walks of life to rise above their personal interests and render support to the ongoing movement. “It is the responsibility of every citizen of Kashmir to lend support to ongoing the freedom struggle. Our struggle is for respect, restoring of snatched rights and against occupation and suppression,” she said.
 She also appealed to the people to recite Qunoot-e-Nazila after every prayer for success of the movement.
