Punish killers of Islamabad youth: Mirwaiz

Srinagar, July 4: Chairman Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has demanded that stern punishment to the policemen who allegedly killed three youth in Islamabad district.
Mirwaiz said the conglomerate supports the demands of people of Islamabad for bringing the accused to book. “Hurriyat will leave no stone unturned to press for punishment to the killers of the innocent youth,” Mirwaiz told Greater Kashmir.
“The troopers and police have spread reign of terror in Islamabad. The entire district has been turned into a garrison and people are being harassed without any provocation,” he said.
Family members of student Sheikh Akram, who has been booked under PSA, protest at Press Enclave on Sunday. They claimed that he was studying in class eight and was not involved in stone pelting.
