Educational institutions to remain closed today: Govt

PSC EXAMS POSTPONED

Srinagar, July 5: The state government has ordered closure of all educational in the Kashmir valley on Tuesday, in view of the Hurriyat Conference (G) call for student protests.
An official spokesman said; “On the request of parents, all the educational institutions including schools and colleges will remain closed on 6 July, 2010 to avoid any untoward incident.” Meanwhile, Minister for School Education, Peerzada Muhammad Sayeed has said that due to the prevailing situation in the valley, the teaching activities have suffered a lot affecting the career of students. He said the education department will organize additional classes to cope up with the deficiencies which have crept in on account of frequent hartals.

PSC EXAMS POSTPONED
Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has postponed all the examinations commencing from July 6, 2010 till further announcement.
