Shabir reviews Yatra arrangements
Jammu: Minister of state for Power, Shabir Ahmed Khan reviewed arrangements for Amarnath Yatris at Jammu base camp at Baghwati Nagar Yatri Niwas.
He went round the Yatri Niwas and inspected the facilities. Shabir interacted with pilgrims and inquired about the facilities being extended to them.
Meanwhile, Shabir Khan, at function organized by Gandhi Global Family, an NGO working for public welfare, at Swankha Morh Vijaypur honored prominent educationist and Urdu Scholar, Prof. Zahoor-u-Din and Laba Ram Gandhi with Gandhi Seva Medal.
The award is given to the persons who work for spreading Gandian way of life and philosophy.
Gandhi Global Family, state president S P Verma, Jammu province coordinator Madan Chalotra, and Sardar Suchet Singh Chairman SC ST Federation, besides a large number of people were present.
