Shabir Shah detained under PSA

Srinagar, July 5: The government has detained Democratic Freedom Party chairman, Shabir Ahmad Shah under Public Safety Act for 8th time in a row and lodged him in Kot Bhalwal Jail Jammu.
 A local news agency KNS said on June 30 Shah was shifted from JIC Jammu to JIC Humhama, where he was lodged for one day. However, on July 2 police presented Shabir Shah before a local court here where judge sent him for nine days judicial remand.
 Court directed police to lodge him in Central Jail Srinagar and provide him proper medical treatment. However, KNS said on July 3 Shah was shifted to Kot Bhalwal jail and detained there under PSA.
