Yasin Malik re-arrested
GK NEWS NETWORK
Srinagar, July 5: Day after his release, police arrested the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik, during a nocturnal raid last night.
Malik was arrested by a police party from his residence at Maisuma. In a statement, the Vice-President of JKLF, Advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat condemned Malik’s arrest. “The Government through curfew politics is subjecting the people to harassment. In the name of so-called peace, the pro-freedom leadership has been kept behind the bars. This is sheer act of state terrorism,” Bhat said.
“These oppressive tactics won’t deter our resolve to carry forward our movement to its logical conclusion,” he said. He also condemned the arrest of youth across the Valley.
