2 drown in Ganderbal

Srinagar: Two persons drowned while four others were rescued after a boat they had taken for a joyride capsized in Anchar Lake on Friday, officials said.
They said that six persons had hired the boat and had gone for ride in Anchar Lake. The boat capsized near Shalbugh in Ganderbal district. While four persons were rescued, two others drowned.
The dead were identified as Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat son of Muhammad Maqbool and Abdul Rashid Gadha son of Muhammad Jamaal, both residents of Dar Mohalla Soura.
