Amarnath cave gets mobile connectivity

Srinagar, July 8: The Union Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, Sachin Pilot commissioned the mobile phone connectivity at the Amarnath cave shrine on Thursday.
 He made the inaugural call from the Himalayan cave shrine in south Kashmir to the Governor, N N Vohra, who is also the chairman of the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
Pilot informed the Governor that with the commissioning of this facility cellular phone connectivity had become available at Baltal, Chandanwari and the cave shrine, while other camp locations like Panjtarni and Sheshnag were expected to get connected with mobile network, within this week.
