Docs join protests

Srinagar, July 8: Scores of doctors staged a protest at Shere-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences here on Thursday against recent killings in the Valley.
The protests organized by the Doctors Joint Action Committee (DJAC) were attended by senior, junior and resident doctors. Protesters sought intervention of international human rights organizations to end the “reign of terror” unleashed by the forces.
“ Paramilitary CRPF troopers barged into the Emergency ward of  SKIMS yesterday and harassed the doctors,” the DJAC spokesman said.
 He condemned the “unruly” behaviour of the CRPF men.
