Don’t discriminate
This refers to the article "Girls outshine boys" on July 3. It’s good to see girls topping the CET and seeking the first five positions, but ideologically I differ with the title. It shows that our society still considers a girl to be an underdog because every time a girl tops this title surfaces. On the contrary when Dr Shah Faesal topped the UPSC exam did we see the title like "Boys outshine girls" anywhere .This clearly shows we still continue to discriminate with girls and doubt their Competence. We always feel we are up to the mark both socially and religiously by giving due respect to a female but we should always keep in mind "Actions speak louder than words."
