‘IT Park at Ompora soon’

Srinagar, June 9: For extending modern information technology facilities in the state, the government is contemplating to establish an Information Technology Park at Ompora, Budgam.
 This, according to an official statement, was states by Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Information Technology (IT), Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi in a meeting of officers chaired to review the functioning of IT department here today. The IT Park would be developed over 200 kanals of land at industrial complex, Ompora.  It would be the first of its kind in the State having State-of-art facilities. 
 Among others, Commissioner Secretary, Information Technology, Mr. Atul Duloo, Commissioner Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Mr. umang Narula   , Managing Director, SIDCO and other senior officers of concerned departments attended the meeting.
