Srinagar, June 9: Endeavoring to make banking for its customers a distinctive and warm experience, the J&K Bank today inaugurated new premises of its business unit in Sonwar.
Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, J&K Bank Limited, A K Mehta cut the ribbon. “This (opening the new premises) signifies reiteration of our commitment to world-class banking services, marked by convenience and closeness to our customers”, Mehta asserted.
Bank’s Zonal head, Kashmir (Central) Abdul Hamid Banday, Cluster Head-I, Waqar Nazki, and Branch Head Ms. Kounsar were present on the occasion.
Addressing a gathering of customers on the occasion, Mehta hailed customers for extending “immense cooperation to the business unit at Sonwar.”
Mehta said that it was the people’s trust and cooperation that had helped the Bank touch new heights and achieve recognition world over.
The new-look premises carries a new design upgrade that encompasses a friendly and bright feel, highlighting J&K Bank’s brand values.
Stating that Bank had scaled new heights under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Dr Haseeb A. Drabu, Mehta said, “Apart from revisiting and redesigning our existing products, we have been designing varied quality products based on the specific requirements of the people of J&K”.
“To explore and exploit the potential of state-based economic sectors, we designed products like Dastkar Finance, Zafran Finance, Craft Development Finance etc. to suit the comprehensive requirements of the people associated with these sectors. Besides, our product offerings are meant for everybody.”
“Finance to Industries and businessmen is something that every bank does but product like Finance for SMC Employees is something that only J&K Bank can offer,” Mehta added.
Describing introduction of ebanking services, SMS services and installation of huge ATM network as Bank’s effort to provide 24x7x365 services to its customers, Mehta sought people’s cooperation in realizing Bank’s vision for 2012.
Abdul Hamid Banday, Vice President and Zonal Head Kashmir Central in his address sought suggestions from customers to “help the Bank improve its product and service offerings.
“Your suggestions, recommendations and even grievances are welcome because we at J&K Bank treat your feedback as a guiding force for us,” Banday stressed.
