Save water

This refers to a news item published in G.K. entitled “Muslim body ropes in mosques for water conservation campaign” (GK 7th June, 2010). Such moves need to be appreciated.  Actually these are basic teachings of Islam.  Our beloved Prophet (SAW) laid great emphasis on preservation of natural resources for betterment of the entire world.  As such every Muslim who believes in Allah and His last and final Apostle (SAW) should take initiatives to preserve this precious and valuable resource i.e; Water.  Here in our Valley we intentionally or unintentionally waste this invaluable wealth of nature without any fear and concern.  Knowingly or unknowingly we go on wasting and polluting water. It would be detrimental not only for humanity but for other creatures in this world.  If anybody takes measures to conserve water, we should encourage him.
