Don’t worry: SSP CID to aspirant Hajjis

Srinagar, June 10: The Senior Superintendent of Police-CID on Thursday said that Hajj aspirants who have applied for passports need not to worry.
 “Those selected by the Haj Committee should not go from door to door for the timely clearance of their passports as it is a duty of the CID and the Passport Officer to conduct the verification on priority and issue the passports by July 10. However, the cases of those applicants who are found involved in the militancy shall be reviewed on case to case basis,” the SSP CID said in a statement.
