Labourer slips to death

Banihal, June 10: A labourer, working with BEACON, slipped to death in the upper reaches of Banihal in Ramban on Thursday.
Police said that 29-year- old Abdul Lateef son of Ghulam Qadir of Khora, Banihal slipped from a hill lock, on his way back home, at Khari.
Family members said the deceased was noticed lying in unconscious condition in a gorge by school children. Lateef succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital, they said adding, he was returning home, late last night, when the incident happened.
