Tourist centre Nowgam to have mall, rock climbing wall

Srinagar, June 11: The Tourist Facilitation Center (TFC), Nowgam coming up at a cost of Rs 11.59 crore will be thrown open in July this year –eight months prior to the scheduled deadline for its completion, the Minister for Tourism and Culture,   Nawang Rigzin Jora Friday said during inspection of the work.
 “The Minister said that more facilities would be created in the complex for which a project is under consideration of the government. He said under this project a shopping mall, rock climbing wall, amusement park and coffee shops would be constructed for convenience of the tourists,” an official handout said.
