Srinagar, June 12: A elderly woman, Noora Begum wife of late Muhammad Ramzan Bhat of Syed Hamid Pora, Nawab Bazar is missing since June 8 when she left her daughter’s residence at HMT for home.
Since then Noora didn’t reach her Nawab Bazar residence.
Noora had gone to her daughter’s home for some days. On the fateful day she had left for her home “hale and hearty”, the family sources said.
Her son, Zahoor Ahmed Bhat said since then the family has been looking for the woman but to no avail.
Bhat said he was worried about the well being of his mother who is in mid 60s pleading that there were no reasons of her going missing.
“She is mentally sound…and there wasn’t any kind of tension at home,” said a family source.
The family said a report has been filed at Police Station Parimpora but police hasn’t been able to locate her as yet.
Meanwhile, the family has appealed the City police Chief Javed Reyaz Bedar to personally review the case so that Noora is traced at an earliest.
Anybody having information about Noora, the family said should contact on 9419483396, 9906786802
