Opens showroom in Srinagar

Srinagar, June 14: The B K Birla Group Company on Monday opened its 1st store in Kashmir at Town Square Mall, Opposite Amar Singh College, Gogji Bagh Srinagar. 
 The showroom, Birla Century, was inaugurated by Minister for Social Welfare Sakina Yatoo. The showroom will deal in cotton clothes from B.K. Birla group which is globally famous for 100 per cent super fine cotton textiles.
 “Cottons by Century since the introduction of the brand has been keeping a fast pace with the current trends and is primarily focusing on the quality of the fabric. We are a 110 years old company and we have continuously upgraded and modernized our technology to produce the excellent quality products,” said Ankur Chabda the Regional Manager North Birla Century.
 “We are keeping the main focus on producing the excellent quality goods to meet the changing customer needs,” he added.
 Birla century is considered to be a mid-to-premium brand which apart from focusing on the quality also ensures affordable prices.
 “We will be providing very high quality stuff to our customers in the Valley at very affordable prices. We will be dealing with both men and women wear,” said Ankur.
 The showroom will offer the customers a variety of stuff including the shirts, trousers, T-Shirts, Kurta-Pajamas, chooridar, indo- western wear, shirts, tops, shalwar kameez, jeans, caprie etc. In addition to this the customers can also get various accessories for day to day use.
  “From the very beginning the Company has been making rapid progress in widely diversifying its products. At present our company is not only the trend setter in Cotton Textiles in India but has also made a remarkable presence in the outside world in cotton clothes,” Ankur said, adding that apart from suiting and shirting fabric the shop will also offer variety of cotton Bed Covers and Bed Linen.
 Ankur said that the company is making every effort to make the brand popular not only in the national but international market as well. “We are continuously going for technological upgradation for producing excellent quality goods to meet the needs of our customers and to face global competition. We want to further improve our global presence, fame and glory,” he added.
 The showroom is the 96th outlet of the company and will be run under the franchisee of F F Garments under the proprietorship of Sabeena.  
 Speaking on the occasion Sakina Yatoo praised Sabeena for taking the franchisee of the shop and stressed that the women folk should make efforts to come forward and carve a niche for themselves.
