Flashy mobiles, grazing animals, heavy hearts, comics, shining cars, wistful eyes, roasted chicken for dinner, chaos, harmony, water balloon fights, kite flying, words you cannot take back, prayers, swings, rides, tears of joy and pain, star gazing, feeling you cannot explain, numberless questions, their vague answers, I don’t knows, rise and falls of civilizations, stock markets, brands, colours, finding true love, losing it and finding it all over again, music, sensuality, touch, spirituality, chocolate, inspiration, cravings, money, traffic jams, hawkers, disaster, curiosity, speed, heroism, corruption, paper clips, photo frames, knowing when to breathe, not wanting to let go, chicken patties, muddy lanes, flirting, fast, slow, tasting, messaging, balances, memory cards, dedicating songs, running, falling and getting up again, dancing, every moment, every hope, every dream, every piece of the cosmic puzzle…. This is life!!
We humans are the supreme beings gifted with the beauty of life. Our soul that composes this life is supernatural and immortal, for it is the soul that never dies. It lives beyond generations and legends.  But we in the quest of bigger dreams and acquisition of every greedy desire forget to take in notice life’s beautiful little gestures. Its nature of plenty, its welcoming and forgiving attitude. We forget to notice the little joys, the little happy moments that life has to offer us every single day.
Human mind is like a bird, restless, always exploring, and ever wandering. This mind creates desires, urges, divine plans, thoughts, and feelings. And all of it is constantly changing. It never rests but flies from one thought to the other, from one feeling to the other, from one desire to the other. Human mind is dynamic, edifice, agog and holds hopelessly subjective perspectives. This mind is highly analytic and made up of the conscious, sub-conscious and un-conscious mind which has so much filled inside of it that it diversifies us and sets high ethical standards for us. It classifies us emotionally, intellectually and spiritually.
We humans react to other’s behaviors; our desires are concentric to their thoughts. Our beliefs, perspectives, goals, tastes and preferences, all resolve around a socially stagnated society. Status symbol, society beliefs and show buzz is what we are all running after. Your neighbor owns a big car, so you must or need to have one.  Your friend is socially active and attends social gatherings, so even if you don’t fit in a circle, feel comfortable in mingling, you feel necessary to do so. Your friend’s or relative’s child has done amazingly well in his board examination so your child has to secure a 90% to compete.  We in this run start setting our own competitions and set high standards for ourselves, have desires and cravings.
But in the quest of craving for these pleasures, you nullify the fact that all these thoughts, feelings, desires, cravings and grasping when achieved are only temporarily silenced. They only give us momentary pleasure. A satisfaction that lasts only for that moment, that period and that phase.
What we feel insignificant at that phase of temporal bliss is the peace of mind which we lose little by little every day. We need to understand the importance of our survival, and instead of running after temporary bliss, we must look for the goal we are sent for and accomplish every bit of happiness in this gift of life. We need to trust our inner most feelings, listen to our intuition, talk to the undying soul inside of us and fulfill our purpose as human beings. And only then will we achieve a state of spiritual freedom and be able to release our soul and set it free.
On questioning several friends and, family members and elders I was astonished to find that people are aware of a unique way to solve this cosmic puzzle, to come out the temporary silence- that’s  to trust your heart, to believe in this transforming device. The heart transforms every form of energy into positive energy. It brings out the best in you. It feels, it reacts, it works like a sponge and sucks in all the pain, all the emotions. Unlike the unstable mind, it makes you believe in yourself, it makes you feel good about yourself, it makes you acknowledge all that you have, and it clears your self image and your perception about yourself and the world. Listen to your heart. Talk to yourself. It is only when you start loving yourself will others start loving you. Being aware about your faults and weaknesses is a wise thing to do. Overcoming it by a healthy and positive attitude is another brave thing to do. It is when you know about your shortcomings and still love yourself unconditionally, will others look beyond your faults and judge you for the person you are. In order to attain spiritual freedom and inner eternal bliss and self satisfaction we need to trust our instincts, believe in ourselves and the power that has bestowed this gift of life upon us and on the whole love ourselves .
It is astonishing how people know about all of it, they have read it in books, magazines, blogs and just everywhere, but everyone fails to apply it to themselves. I have a couple of friends and even family members who have read the book ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne  which is about how self help and positive thinking  can have life changing results on income, happiness, better health and more. But none of them have actually applied it in real life and set examples for themselves. Everyone is caught up in the juxtaposition of the heart and the mind. Nobody knows who to listen to. People must understand there is so much more than just being jumbled up between thoughts, desires, jealousy, status symbols, and examination marks.
Look around you, catch the dew drop that was about to fall, what image comes to your mind when you look up at the blue sky and the clouds sailing on it? How far has the bird you just saw flown? Did you enjoy the last sip of your morning tea? Did the newspaper have something extraordinary today? What was so unusual about the vendor today? Follow your breath, look at yourself in the mirror, admire that smile that shines across your face, and remember the first steps your child took. Take notice of every little thing around you. Catch the moments you would have otherwise missed. Enjoy every single pleasure that life has to offer you. Enjoy the little happiness you are bestowed upon every single day. Trust yourself. Then and only then will you feel good about everything in life. Everything signifies nothingness, so instead of crying over something you have lost or don’t have, feel good about the little that you have and treasure this gift called life.
 We all follow a sequence in our lives. We are born, we live our lives and then we die. But all of it doesn’t happen in the same order. Some are born old and some are living dead and some are always growing up. Life is as unpredictable as the heartbeat of a person. We are made up of dust and to dust we must return. There are different ways of doing it. Let us do it the nicer way. Let us do it the happier way. Let us be happy. This is the only way to solve the cosmic puzzle to hear the music of love, happiness and forgiveness in the moment of temporary silence.
